About us
Contract Aquatic Services was established in 1998 as an external contractor to the leisure industry, primarily servicing local government organisations. Since 1998 our business has grown to focus in the core areas of asset management, asset maintenance, consultancy, event management and staff solutions. Contract Aquatic Services became a subsiduary of Civistruct Australia Pty Limited in February 2007.
Overview
Clients can partner with our company in varying degrees. From the delivery of a single service (temporary staffing or consultancy etc), through to intergrated facility management, comprising of a number of more or less specialised services. We aim to provide our clients with a service that is customer focused, cost effective, flexible and business driven.
Our experienced management team has over 30 years experience in the leisure industry, meeting the ever changing needs of our clients with effective technical and hands on solutions. As a contracting company we recognise that our most valuable asset is our staff. Clients can be assured that we only employ quality industry certified personnel. All company staff complete our company's extensive induction programme, prior to onsite employment.

Our company also retails a significant range of in house products to customers. These include company branded facility signage, occupational health & safety signage, first aid signage etc. To aid organisations with compliance requirements, we also retail a range of customised digital compliance procedures, to suit clients requirements.

Contract Aquatic Services operate 8 regional government aquatic centres and 4 commercial multi-use leisure facilities in Western Australia. All staff are highly qualified with extensive experience in the Western Australian leisure industry.
Contract Aquatic Services leisure facilities are operated in accordance with a management agreement or income/expenditure budgetary agreement.
Contract Aquatic Services offer comprehensive centre programming, centre signage and industry leading safety procedures, incorporating internal reporting documentation.
Contract Aquatic Services offer complete broadform liability coverage for all facilities and staff.

The operation of regional government aquatic centres has been an intergral component of our business, since our establishment in 1998. We have been in business for over 12 years servicing the liesure industry.
Our management team has over 30 years of facility management/maintenance expertise having operated in excess of 25 commercial leisure facilites during this period.
Our knowledge and experience of a diverse range of commercial plant & circulation systems, is without peer in the Western Australian leisure industry. .Contract Aquatic Services are the largest operator of commercial aquatic centres in Western Australia.

Asset Maintenance Solutions
Contract Aquatic Services are experts in structural concrete repair and associated applications. Through our other business interest, Civistruct, we have extensive experience in the commercial, industrial and private sector. This experience ensures that all works are completed to the highest standards, on time and on budget.
Contract Aquatic Services has the capacity and expertise to complete all maintenance on the facilities we operate. Contract Aquatic Services specializes in the following maintenance areas:
Surface Preparation and Bonding Applications: high pressure water jetting, concrete reinforcing, abrasive blasting, acid etching, epoxy priming and bonding, concrete diamond cutting/grinding, site compaction.
Concrete Repairs, Applications and Surface Coatings: spalled concrete structural repair, expansion joints, epoxy injection, application of polymer reinforced cement, acrylic membrane lining, acid resistant urethane lining, epoxy surface coating.
In-House Maintenance & Preventative Scheduling
Contract Aquatic Services offer a complete service to our commercial clients, from centre management operation, maintenance scheduling and facility condition reports.
We have the capacity and expertise to complete all maintenance on the facilities we operate.
Contract Aquatic Services recommend and use industry leading structural concrete repair technologies from SIKA and Degussa (MBT).
A portfolio of works completed by Contract Aquatic Services is available to prospective clients illustrating/detailing completed works .
A Diverse Clientele Base & Quality Assured Results
Contract Aquatic Services implements a quality assured process when completing all new constructions and structural repairs. A detailed site inspection is completed and a Scope of Works drafted to include materials used, site preparation, safety management and client handover.
All works completed are digitaly documented, compiled with the Scope of Works and delivered to the client on the site completion date. All major works entail a site schedule and Scope of Works, prepared by our consultant engineer

Water Walkers
Transparent walls balls that have a 2.5m diameter. The rider hops inside and the ball is then inflated by our staff, providing 15 minutes of fun time with the rider literally walking on water !
Contract Aquatic Services provides 1 ball to each of the facilities we operate and regularily holds ' Ball Frenzy ' days, when up to 5 balls are inflated at venues which creates a real atmosphere for user patrons.

Water Roller
The Water Roller is a transparent rolling log that have a 2.5m outside diameter & 2.0m inside diameter that is 6m long. Up to 8 riders can hop inside, providing a running platform to rotate the log.

Zorb Balls (West Coast Zorb)
Giant Balls that have a 3.0m outside diameter & 2.0m inside diameter. Yep you have seen them on tv, with the crew running around inside like human hamsters!
Contract Aquatic Services in conjunction with West Coast Zorb, will be bringing them to CAS facilities all summer.

Swim to Rotto (Seasonal)
The ' Swim to Rotto ' seasonal programme is a great way to feel part of a group for regular lap swimmers. It is run by ' Be Active ' and enables lap swimmers to keep a tally of their laps on the local pool noticeboard.
Records of these swimmers laps are tallied monhly and compared to other competing swimmers at pools around the state. Leading pools/participants recieve regular updates on their progress against competitors and recieve prizes at the end of the pool season.
Why not sign up today at your local CAS Centre and compete against other lap swimmers from around the state.
Swim to Rotto Event Day
Would you like to be part of the worlds largest open water swim, but swim in your local Pool ?
Have you thought about Swimming 19.2km from Perth To Rottnest Island. In 2009 over 100 competitors competed at CAS Pools with Brookton Pool the overall winner and a recipient of the ' Australia Day Community Event of the Year '
Individual or team registrations for 2010 can be taken by the Aquatic Centre Manager, so get a team together and join in the fun!
You will also be racing against competitors from 8 CAS operated Aquatic Centres through out Western Australia.
CAS is offering combined prize money of $1000.00 to participating teams.
CAS ' Swim4Fitness ' Programmes
Did you know that Swimming is the only Sport that uses every muscle in the Human Body. Swimming is also one of the most effective forms of increasing Anaerobic Fitness as well as providing moderate Aerobic exercise. Professional Swimmers have the fastest Heart Rate Recovery amongst all Professional Athletes. Heart Rate Recovery is the primary method of measuring a Persons level of Fitness. Swimming provides full body support and muscle injuries are unlikely from Recreational Swimming
Why not try out some of the CAS ' Swim4Fitness ' programmes available for free at any CAS operated Aquatic Centre. Once you have gained some fitness you might want to join the seasonal ' Swim to Rotto ' programme or compete in the ' Swim to Rotto Event Day '.
Aquarobics
Aquarobics sessions are run at Kondinin, Pingelly and Brookton Aquatic Centres. These sessions are well attended and ususually run in the late afternoon to avoid busy pool periods.
Why not join up and mingle with the group of friendly participants, a great way to increase your fitness and tone up this summer!
CAS are currently looking for suitably qualified instructors to run Aquarobics at our Centres in Dowerin, Cunderdin, Beverley and Narembeen. If you are interested in running Aquaorobics in these towns, contact the local CAS Manager for employment conditions and casual pay rates.
Swim Clubs
Swim Clubs are at CAS Centres in Brookton, Beverley, Narembeen, Kondinin, Dowerin and Pingelly. Why not join up today!, swimming in a club is a great way to increase your fitness and stroke skills/technique developing friendships with like minded swimmers. along the way!
Wether its competing with an Incorporated Club in sanctioned competitions or just training/swimming with a Social Club, organised swimming is a great form of exercise for participants of all ages.
If you are interested in establishing a Swim Club at a CAS Centre that does not currently have one, contact your Centre Manager and together we will work towards establishing one.

CAS Sponsorship and Funding Grants
Each year Contract Aquatic Services distributes funding grants in excess of $10,000.00. This funding is made available for capital expenditure items at CAS operated facilities, enhancing and maintaining the facilities we operate.
Contract Aquatic Services is also a pro-active sponsor of sporting groups within the communities we operate. It is a firm belief of our Company that competitive sport teaches the setting of goals and the pursuit in achieving these goals. Particularily for children, this stands them in good stead for their development into well grounded adults.
In 2009, Contract Aquatic Services was the Major Sponsor of the Dolphins Water Polo Club in the National Under 14 Titles. The Dolphins Female team won the championships with the Boys team placing fourth. Well done Dolphins WPC!
